Twitter has announced that it will start removing its "legacy" blue verified checkmarks from April 1. Twitter told users to subscribe to its Blue subscription if they want to keep their blue ticks. In December, Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the company would remove the checks because "the way in which they were given out was corrupt and nonsensical".
