Two Hiroshima buildings that survived atomic bomb to be demolished

Authorities of Hiroshima have decided to demolish two buildings that survived the atomic bomb dropped by the US during World War II. The buildings, built in 1913, were first used to manufacture military clothing, later as accommodation for university students and then as a makeshift hospital after the bombing. However, some locals have called for preservation of the buildings.
