Three inmates, including two Saudi nationals, were killed on Saturday in violence at Central Jail in Manipur's Imphal, a police spokesman said. Reportedly, the two Saudi nationals killed one undertrial prisoner, in response to which, inmates stormed into their cell and killed them. The Saudi nationals, who were arrested in 2012, had completed their prison term and were awaiting deportation.
