Two-year waitlist for sperms in NZ amid shortage

New Zealand is experiencing a sperm shortage in clinics, with people facing a waiting list of two years. This comes after New Zealand passed legislation in 2004 banning anonymous sperm donations and prevented donors from receiving payments for their services. General Manager of Fertility Associates John Peek said that like "climate change", the shortage has become the "new normal".
