Late Indian painter-sculptor Tyeb Mehta's 'Trussed Bull' painting was sold for ₹61.80 crore at a Saffronart auction. The 1956 painting sold for more than 8 times its higher estimate, setting a record for the highest value achieved by the artist in an auction worldwide. The artwork shows the bull's hands and legs bound together, and it appears to be struggling.
