U'khand villagers make their own wooden river crossing, clip viral

Residents of Kota village in Uttarakhand's Yamkeshwar block have built a makeshift wooden bridge across Hinval River after facing difficulties crossing its strong current. A viral video shows villagers placing wooden logs and panels to create the crossing. Earlier residents used ropes to cross the river. Their initiative garnered praise but also raised concern over their difficult daily travel.
