UAE has asked French government to allow urgent consular access to Telegram CEO Pavel Durov, jailed in France. UAE said prioritising the welfare of its citizens is a key priority for the government. Durov, a citizen of Russia, France and UAE, was arrested as part of a probe into alleged criminal violations, including complicity in selling child sexual abuse material.
