The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has the world's largest hand-woven carpet measuring 5,630 square metres. It is the largest mosque in the UAE, which covers an area of more than 12 hectares and can accommodate 40,000 worshippers at one time. The mosque, which has over 80 domes, houses several crystal and gold gilded chandeliers.
