US-based taxi hailing app, Uber, has appointed Amit Jain as the President of its Indian Operations. Jain will be handling “all business strategy, operations, and growth” in India, as it becomes Uber's second largest market outside the US. Jain is an IIT and Stanford graduate and was previously the President of the tech-based real estate firm, Rent.com in the US.
