US-based cab aggregator Uber has appointed Pradeep Parameswaran as the company's President for India and South Asia business. Previously, the position was held by Amit Jain, who has been elevated to the role of Head of Asia Pacific region including Australia, and New Zealand. Parameswaran, a former McKinsey executive, joined Uber India in January last year as head of operations.
