Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi took to Twitter on Saturday to share that the ride-hailing startup's first driver has picked up her Tesla rental car. American car rental company Hertz had earlier announced a partnership to supply Uber drivers with electric vehicles. Under the agreement, Hertz will offer 50,000 Tesla cars as a rental option for Uber drivers by 2023.
