Taxi aggregator Uber has reportedly invested around ₹200 crore in Mumbai-based car leasing firm Xchange Leasing India, between June and September this year. This comes after it earlier invested around ₹43 crore in the firm. This can help Uber retain drivers exclusively on their platform, as they are offered an option to own a leased car after an initial period.
