The Supreme Court on Tuesday said Uber and Ola “do not facilitate cartelisation or anti-competitive practices between drivers” and that the drivers act as “independent individuals”. Advocate Samir Agarwal had challenged the cab aggregators, saying their price-fixing algorithm is not fair to drivers. The Competition Commission of India had also earlier dismissed Agarwal's plea.
