Ride-hailing startup Uber on Monday raised its minimum fare in Hong Kong by up to 80%. The company said the decision is "based on an evaluation of the marketplace in Hong Kong." In March, Hong Kong police arrested 21 Uber drivers in an undercover operation on suspicion of carrying passengers for hire and not having third-party insurance for their cars.
