Uber has said that it will discontinue its services in five Pakistani cities including Karachi and Islamabad. Multan, Faisalabad and Peshawar are the other cities where operations will be stopped. Uber said that drivers and riders can switch to Careem, the Dubai-based company it bought. Uber will continue its operations in Lahore, where it also plans on launching new products.
