Uber to charge riders $15 to return lost items in US

Cab-hailing startup Uber has started charging its riders $15 (about ₹1,000) as compensation to the drivers for returning belongings left behind. Calling the new charge a "delivery fee", Uber estimated that drivers return an average of 11 lost items a year. The move is part of the project '180 Days of Change' to improve the experience of Uber's self-employed drivers.
