Uber has partnered with Hertz to offer 50,000 Tesla vehicles as a rental option to its drivers by 2023. Drivers will be able to rent a Tesla starting on November 1 in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Washington DC, with the programme expanding nationwide later. The programme could expand to 1.5 lakh Teslas during the next three years.
