Uber's Indian-origin Chief Technology Officer Sukumar Rathnam is stepping down from his position and plans to leave the firm in early October. Earlier, Business Insider had reported that Rathnam, who was appointed as the CTO in September 2020, has been increasingly at odds with Chief Product Officer Sundeep Jain. Uber said it has no immediate plans to replace Rathnam.
