Nihar Thackeray, nephew of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday and extended his support to the ruling alliance. "On this occasion, I heartily welcomed him and gave my best wishes for his future social and political endeavours," Shinde tweeted, after the meeting. Nihar Thackeray is the grandson of party Founder late Bal Thackeray.
