AIADMK has elected MLA RB Udhayakumar as Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. The post was earlier held by former Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam, who was expelled from the party earlier this month. Further, MLA SS Krishnamurthy has replaced Manoj Pandian as AIADMK's Deputy Secretary. Earlier, Pandian was expelled from the party for supporting Panneerselvam.
