The University Grants Commission (UGC) issued draft guidelines, in which it suggested that irrespective of disciplines taken in Class 12 or under-graduation, a student can apply for admission in any discipline of UG programme or PG programme. The guidelines also suggested twice a year admission and multiple entry and exit options among other things.
