UGC has issued show-cause notice to KIIT University in Odisha's Bhubaneswar in connection with two suicides of Nepalese students on February 16 and May 1. This comes after the UGC formed a fact-finding team to investigate suicide incidents. The commission also directed KIIT to respond within seven days, explaining why disciplinary or legal actions shouldn't be taken against the institute.
