The UK has become the world's first country to declare an environment and climate emergency, the Labour Party said. The Parliament approved Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's motion which calls to aim to achieve net-zero emissions before 2050. It also calls for proposals within the next six months to restore the UK's natural environment and deliver a "zero waste economy"
