UK civil servants think risk is a gamble: Ex-MI5's Bickford

Former MI5 and MI6 Legal Director David Bickford said on the podcast that UK civil servants see risk as synonymous with gambling, like "putting money on a horse". In his past job, risk was analysed "every single minute of every single day", he said. "We need to understand that risk is good," Bickford added.
