Jet Airways had its appeal against a $16750 fine over failure to comply with EU’s Emission Trading System (ETS) dismissed by Britain on Friday. The ETS stipulates that all aircraft using its airports pay for carbon dioxide emissions for the portions of flights within the bloc. Jet had pleaded that the Indian Government had asked it not to comply.
