UK employees spend ₹12,900 crore of their own money on AI for work: Report

UK employees are spending nearly £1 billion (around ₹12,900 crore) a year of their own money on generative AI tools they use for work, according to a Deloitte survey. One in six (17%) surveyed users paid for at least one GenAI tool themselves for work. Around 31% of GenAI users said they use AI tools without their employer's knowledge.
