UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the country is moving towards war-fighting readiness, as he announced plans for its military and nuclear preparedness. The plan includes building 12 next-generation nuclear-powered attack submarines, increasing munitions, and setting up a Cyber and Electromagnetic Command. Starmer said UK hopes to give its "biggest contribution to NATO since it was created".
