UK Paints (India) Pvt Ltd, a promoter group entity of Berger Paints, will acquire an additional 14.48% stake in the latter through an internal restructuring. It will acquire 16.8 crore shares from its wholly-owned subsidiary Jenson & Nicholson (Asia) Ltd. The deal, involving nil consideration, will increase UK Paints' direct shareholding in the paint major from roughly 50% to 64.57%.
