UK PM Theresa May on Friday called on the European Union (EU) to respect her country's position on the Brexit negotiations and the result of the referendum. May added that the negotiations were at an impasse, a day after EU leaders rejected her Chequers plan. May called on the EU to explain what it believed was wrong with her proposals.
