UK radio station Radio Caroline issued a public apology after a computer malfunction mistakenly broadcasted that King Charles III had died. The error briefly triggered the UK's national "Death of a Monarch" protocol on Tuesday afternoon before the station went silent. Station manager Peter Moore apologised to the King and listeners for any distress, as normal programming was quickly restored.
