UK regulator Ofcom has launched a formal probe into Elon Musk's X over its AI chatbot Grok, which has been used to create sexualised deepfakes, including of minors. The investigation will determine if X violated legal obligations under the Online Safety Act. Musk defended Grok, while the UK and EU stress protecting users and children online.
