Researchers at UK's Manchester University have designed and flown what they claim to be world's largest quadcopter drone, measuring 21 feet from corner to corner and weighing 24.5 kg. The drone is made from 5 mm thick sheets of cardboard-like material foamboard and may be used in the future as a drone "mothership". Drone's design was completed in six months.
