Ukraine attacks Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia after Trump warns against strikes

Ukrainian forces reportedly launched a drone attack on the Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia’s Samara Oblast overnight Tuesday. Fires broke out at different parts of the complex following the attack, The Kyiv Independent reported. The attack came after US President Donald Trump urged Ukraine not to target Russia’s oil infrastructure, saying such strikes are contributing to a diesel shortage.
