US has assessed that Ukraine’s drone attack hit 20 Russian warplanes, destroying around 10 of them, which is around half of Kyiv’s earlier estimate of 41, Reuters reported citing two US officials. They described attack on Russian airbases as significant, while one of them warned that it could push Kremlin to adopt tougher stance in US-brokered talks to end conflict.
