US President Donald Trump hinted at sending Patriot air defence system to war-torn Ukraine after holding a "strategic" telephonic conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. "[Ukraine is] going to need something because [it's] being hit pretty hard," Trump said, referring to the Patriot system. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz also proposed buying Patriot system from US for Ukraine.
