UK tech major Micro Focus has announced that it will buy part of US-based Hewlett-Packard’s business in a deal valued at about $8.8 billion. Hewlett-Packard Enterprise will merge its non-core software assets with Micro Finance, to cut down its operations. Notably, this will make Micro Focus one of world's largest infrastructure software companies with annual revenues of about $4.5 billion.
