UK's Prince Philip retires from public duty after 65 years

UK's 96-year-old Prince Philip on Wednesday retired from public duty after serving for over 65 years as the Captain General of the Royal Marines. The Prince announced his retirement in May this year, after completing over 22,000 solo appearances. However, as the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince will still appear at Queen Elizabeth II's side from time to time.
