Ultra processed foods make teens eat more, study finds

A Virginia Tech study published in 'Obesity' shows that 18 to 21-year-old individuals eat more and snack without hunger after two weeks on an ultra processed diet. Older young adults did not show this effect, suggesting late adolescence is a vulnerable period where processed foods can strongly shape long term eating behaviour.
