Ultra-processed foods may harm brain function, study finds

A study published in Alzheimer's & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring finds that high intake of ultra-processed foods may impair cognitive function. It observed that even small increases in intake can affect mental performance. The study also links these foods to higher risks of conditions like obesity and high blood pressure, associated with an increased risk of dementia.
