UMED hosts Diwali Faral Mahotsav for rural women SHGs in Maharashtra

Maharashtra's UMED campaign organised a Diwali Faral Mahotsav in Navi Mumbai, where women from self-help groups prepare traditional snacks, sev, karanjis, laddoos, fresh in front of customers. The festival promotes rural women's financial independence, sources raw materials directly from farmers, and builds consumer trust in hygiene and quality of festive food.
