Umpires told Angelo Mathews of timed out threat before helmet malfunction: Report

When Sri Lanka's Angelo Mathews walked out to bat in their World Cup match against Bangladesh, he was informed by umpires he had 30 seconds left to be ready, ESPNcricinfo reported. Mathews' helmet strap then came off and instead of informing umpires, he signalled for replacement helmet, the report added. Mathews was then deemed timed out after Bangladesh's appeal.
