Unacademy raises $150 mn at $1.45 bn valuation, becomes India's 2nd edtech unicorn

Bengaluru-based edtech startup Unacademy has raised $150 million in funding round led by Japan's SoftBank at a valuation of $1.45 billion, making it India's only second edtech unicorn after BYJU'S. Investors in the $150 million funding round include existing backers Facebook and Sequoia Capital. SoftBank's money is coming from Vision Fund 2, a successor to its initial $100 billion fund.
