Hamas has condemned Israel’s move to cut off electricity supply to a key desalination plant in Gaza, accusing it of cheap and unacceptable blackmail. "We strongly condemn the occupation's decision to cut off electricity to Gaza after depriving it of food, medicine and water," a Hamas leader said. Reportedly, the plant serves more than 600,000 Gazans through tankers or networks.
