TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee criticised the BJP over the 'One Nation, One Election' bill, calling it an "unashamed" attack on democracy. The bill proposes simultaneous elections for the Lok Sabha and state assemblies across India. "The One Nation One Election bill seeks to rob the people of their fundamental right to vote regularly," Banerjee wrote on X.
