'Parachute' coconut oil maker Marico's Founder, Harsh Mariwala, appeared on ThePrint's 'Off The Cuff' series and said that his uncles and friends wanted him to change the brand name of 'Parachute'. He added, "I decided to continue with it...and...I think the decision has paid off." He also said that the oil is named after parachutes seen during World War 2.
