Under-23 world champion wrestler Aman Sehrawat won bronze medal in the men's 57kg freestyle event after defeating China's Liu Minghu via technical superiority at the 19th Asian Games in China's Hangzhou. It is the 20-year-old's maiden Asian Games medal. Earlier, he had bagged gold medal in the Senior Asian Wrestling Championships that took place in Kazakhstan in April.

Suryavanshi reached the three-figure mark off 35 balls against Gujarat Titans. He broke the previous record held by Yusuf Pathan, who took 37 deliveries to smash his hundred while playing for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians in 2010.

It is also Vaibhav's first fifty in IPL. He smashed six sixes and three fours in his first 17 deliveries. Vaibhav is the youngest cricketer to score a fifty in IPL.

Gold falls by ₹1,000, silver plunges ₹1,400

Gold prices declined ₹1,000 to ₹98,400 per 10 grams in Delhi on Monday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9% purity had closed at ₹99,400 per 10 grams on Thursday. Silver prices also plunged ₹1,400 to ₹98,500 per kg on Monday. The white metal had settled at ₹99,900 per kg in the previous session.

Food scientists at Technical University of Munich have found that Amaropostia stiptica (bitter bracket fungus) is the most bitter tasting thing in the world. As per researchers, a single gram of a compound found in Amaropostia stiptica would still taste bitter even if mixed into 106 bathtubs of water. The mushroom is widely available in Britain, as per the researchers.

Russia announces surprise ceasefire in Ukraine from May 8-10

UK scientists to attempt dimming the Sun

India signs ₹63,000 crore deal to buy 26 Rafale-M fighter jets from France
