Understanding LinkedIn post views better

In LinkedIn video posts, a view is three or more seconds of playback, while the video is atleast 50% visible onscreen. For non-video posts, view is at least 50% onscreen or when clicked, whichever comes first. Hence, video posts get fewer views, image-only posts get more views than text or video posts, and shorter text posts get more views.
