India on Thursday said that "it was unfortunate that Pakistan attempted to politicise a religious issue", referring to the Kartarpur corridor event. "We hope Pakistan will fulfil its announcements in regard to Kartarpur corridor," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said. Pakistan's Foreign Minister recently said PM Imran Khan 'bowled a googly' to ensure India's presence at Kartarpur event.
