Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev urged other nations to unfreeze Afghanistan's assets in foreign banks to start talks with the Taliban government. Reportedly, US has frozen nearly $9.5 billion in assets belonging to Afghan central bank and stopped shipments of cash to Kabul after Taliban seized control. Earlier this week, China had called on US to unfreeze assets belonging to Afghanistan.
