A father and his young 5-yo son were brutally murdered by an unidentified gang near Ambasamudram in Tirunelveli district on Thursday in a shocking attack that police suspect was a targeted killing. Kalimuthu, a resident of the Ambasamudram area, was travelling on a two-wheeler along with his two sons near Kallidaikurichi when a gang allegedly chased them in a car.
